Contextual Design
Over the years, businesses have evolved so much that we want to see value for every cent we they invest in advertising. They have more defined goals and want their message to reach the right customers at the right time. This has given rise to contextual marketing and advertising. Contextual design is a marriage between the need for text that is searchable for search engines and the graphic designing that is needed to keep a customer on your site.
Google estimates that you have about four seconds to convince the person who finds your website to stay rather than moving on to another site. This means that having easily searchable text that works with search engines to deliver someone to your site is only half the battle. To get a customer to stay you need the right design and imagery, a picture can be easily understood in the few seconds you have to convince a prospective viewer or customer to stay on your site.
